To some degree it may be splitting hairs, but I think that if the goal is equality and understanding between genders, then it should not be carried under the flags of masculinity -or- feminism. Define it more like “humanity", and coming to grips with that. I’m not sure why. I just know that it tends to be that when I see a woman doing it, it makes me more inclined to try it myself. That’s just me though.
