2nd Annual Worldwide Photowalk

Hey folks. It’s another crazy week around here, and if you missed yesterday’s post it’s because there wasn’t one. I didn’t catch any events on the DFW calendar this week SO if YOU know of one leave a comment or email me.

Today there are TWO important announcements:

1. Signup NOW for Scott Kelby’s 2nd Annual Worldwide Photowalk. Dallas registration is open, and I will have event details coming very soon. Only 50 spots are available, and just like last year THEY WILL GO FAST. If you didn’t attend last year find out what you missed on Scott’s blog.

2. Adobe Community Expert AND Photoshop Genius, Chris Tarantino will be giving a Retouching Webinar next Wednesday, May 27th. This event is so FANTASTIC I couldn’t wait until Monday to post. It’s only $10 which is INCREDIBLY generous for someone of Chris’s extensive resume. I may just have to bribe him with his favorite libation so I can get a front row seat.

As always, you can catch updates quickest from me on Twitter.

DFW Events – Week of May 10th

Good morning dear readers.

It’s been brought to my attention that content around these parts is rather lacking leading some to believe I’m slacking off. On the contrary, just doing my best to keep my head above water at the moment. In the juggling act of this month, something is bound to drop. Rest assured the respite is only temporary, and blogging duties will continue as best they can.

Good afternoon all. Hope you’re weekend was stellar, and good things are going on today. Before we get to this week’s calendar wanted to remind you that I’d love your support during my quest to PSW. Thanks for all the positive feedback so far, and I’m ABSOLUTELY speechless from the folks who sent personal messages to the NAPP folks requesting my addition to the instructor list. I know the Lightroom/Photoshop list is full, and I would gladly deliver a kickass InDesign/Illustrator presentation.

Who Do You Follow On Twitter?

Blogging to you live this damp, rainy morning. @PicSeshu threw up a blog post earlier this week with the 31 photographers he follows on Twitter. Each Friday is considered “#followfriday” where folks on the Twitterverse use that hashtag to denote who they suggest. If you follow me then you probably follow a lot of the folks that I reply to. Here are some folks I follow that maybe you haven’t seen:

@whoisariston
@pixelatedimage
@photojack
@pairadocsdesign
@GrfxGuru
@jeffcrossphoto
@mikejonesphoto
@kevinkubota
@Lisa_Sage
@DurbinDigital
@staceydoyle
@tony_e
@scottwyden
@xequals

Folks in this list either impressed me with their blogs, creative works, or are just great Twitter peeps. This is not the defacto list, but some of the peeps I haven’t mentioned before on either Twitter or here on the blog. Until next week…
